IC - XC Christ, nimbate, seated facing on square-backed throne, wearing tunic and pallium, raising his right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in his left. Rev. ΔЄC/ΠΟT / Τω / Π - ΦY/ΡΟ/ΓЄ/NH/T On the left, John II Comnenus standing facing, wearing divitision and loros and holding labarum in his right hand and akakia in his left; on the right, the Virgin, wearing robes, crowning the emperor with her right hand and holding maphorion in her left; above, MΘ. SB 1939. Flattened and with an edge crack and graffiti, otherwise, very fine.
